“The Little Prince” quote cut from Secret Message Society, Issue #20
Life is a spiritual dance and that our unseen partner has steps to teach us if we will allow ourselves to be led. The next time you are restless, remind yourself it is the universe asking ‘Shall we dance? -Julia Cameron
Art for Day 26: Dancing with what I want; naming it and allowing time for it.
This week my posts will be daily glimpses of Week 48’s “week-at-a-glance” page + answering the questions I have received about my daily art/planning practice.

When do you find time to create your glue-book planners?
It is my intention to be my own hero, to name + schedule time for what is important to me. There are still times when I fall into the space of wanting “someone” to help me take care of my-self; or to be “the why” I don’t do what I want to do — “someone” to read my mind and know what I need.
Thus, my favorite experiments involved time and want-to’s and being my own hero! Trial and error is the best way to discover solutions that work for {you}.
Every day Life there are 24 hours for experiments.

Do what you must to find what works.
My gluebook pages are created minutes at a time. Minutes first thing in the early morning, after exercise or a nap, as a break from work — and throughout all the hours of day when something pops into my head to note, or I find a word or element I want to add.
What do you need?
I do “schedule” my days according to my energy levels {rhythms} to ensure I incorporate what I need within my everyday; I am intentional about having the elements I need, accessible and in the space I need.
I allow space in my home — even when it requires decades of decisions to release guilt about shoulds, The Messy and “me-time” …
First things are first. What is most important to you?

Make time and space by choosing you.
It is the same as putting on the proverbial oxygen mask on before assisting someone who needs your assistance. Serve you in order to serve others and accomplish the work of your {living}; to honor what is in your heart. ♥

My Week as of Wednesday
My intentions in posting images as I create my week-at-a-glance page is not to provide a how-to, but to present a visual example of {one} way to honor an intention of personal care through art-full noting and planning.
It will allow you to observe, and hopefully note what you would like to do for your own daily practice; to identify what you like and what you might want to include for your practice.
Note: You may still be in the Observation Phase of deciding your art/planning process. Be kind to your-self, resist the urge to “hurry” or impose “never and always” to your personal time of determining how you want to accomplish art every day/week.
It takes as long as takes, Braveheart.
