Art for Day 13
The lie is a short-cut through another’s personality. … Truthfulness, honor, is not something which springs ablaze itself; it has to be created between people. -Adrienne Rich
Yesterday’s art included expeditions within and a frigid walkabout my 2.5-acre-wood.
Art for Day 13 {lucky 13!} was also devoted to swirly serendipity and work projects due to wonky schedule changes beyond my control. {I wholehearted embrace my own philosophy of creative-tenacity when adaptions are required or when a journey inward becomes necessary to sooth an old wound I thought was healed on a busy day …} ♥
Serendipity included flipping through an old right brain planner …
Basically a spiral notebook with Post-it® notes and random elements. But also the beginnings of Right Brain Planner!
Work projects included working on 31 e-mail messages for The Art Journaler Community’s “31 Days of Prompts” {fun!! + free!!} as well as content for “She Journals” session in December.
I dream a lot. I do more painting when I’m not painting. It’s in the subconscious. -Andrew Wyeth
Serendipity also included some “she-journals” entries as I processed some unexpected emotions.
And I also visited (3) random artist sites linked with Art Every Day Month:
- Life is like a cat playing with an endless ball of string. -Sandy, Life and a cat…
- Making backgrounds is a meditation for me. I like just grabbing art supplies and going for it. Something usually grabs my attention, it could be a stencil, a stamp, a color, a piece of paper or ephemera. That becomes my starting point. Marianne, Creative Musings {she is creating on backgrounds for AEDM}

Are you participating with Art Every Day Month? I have opened the comment section and would love for you to link to your blog or Flickr! ♥
During the month of November I will be posting glimpses of my art every day …
I prepped a new gluebook for this month’s art. If you would like to see visual tutorials and read more about glue-booking, click here.
P.S. Use hashtag #tajgluebook on Instagram to connect with other women who use glue-booking as means of art journaling.
